Keith R. Sorgeloos is the owner and founder of Home Source International that he began in January 2000. He has 30 years of senior level management experience, both domestically and internationally. Keith's career includes the creation of start-up corporations, including his own, Home Source International, Inc., and the development of new and core businesses world-wide. He has held senior positions in sales, business management, product development, and new brand development, as well as working in various levels of retailing.
Since Home Source International's inception, the company has grown to a $50 million plus wholesale business through the development to unique, innovative, differentiated core bed and bath textile products. Keith has established a strong business relationship with key accounts that include Macy's Corporation, Bed Bath & Beyond and Costco. In addition, he has established his own "Home Source" brand where he has successfully positioned luxury bedding and bath products in over 800 high-end independent specialty stores and national catalogs.
Prior to Home Source International, Keith was based in Hong Kong and Tokyo as
Vice President and Managing Director of the Asian division of WestPoint Stevens, Inc., the number one Home Fashions Consumer Products Company in the world at the time. Keith launched the start-up Asian Division of WestPoint Stevens and expanded WPS from a $25 million base in 1992 to a $100 million business by the end of 1998. He developed worldwide programs including licensing and manufacturing partnerships in North America, South America and Asia.
From 1974-1982, Keith worked in various levels of retailing including store management and merchandise buying at Dayton-Hudson Corporation.
He received his Bachelor of Science with Honors in Management and Economics
from Oakland University.
